On Monday night, the Cardinals recent 5-game winning streak was on national display as they opened a four-game series against the Philadelphia Phillies on ESPN.
Also on display: Yadier Molina’s tiger stripes.
Tiger stripes? Nice.
We haven’t seen those since a soccer game at Vianney High School in 1994. Now they’re on our Gold Glove catcher.
UPDATE: Our friends over at CardsDiaspora.com alerted us that the pitcher formally known as Kyle Lohse rocked similar tiger stripes last season. Interesting development.
