It would be a bold-faced lie if we told you that we watched the entire Cardinals game, or even one full inning. Sorry Redbirds, it’s premier week. And, you stink. When given a choice between watching Sofia Vergara and a lineup that features a Pagnozzi not named “Tom”, we’ll choose Vergara every time.
Nevertheless, we couldn’t help but notice that newbie Daniel Descalso (who we’re nicknaming “Double D”, independent of the aforementioned Sofia Vergara reference) bears a striking resemblance to a couple of former Redbirds.
It’s pretty frightening, actually. Everything from the ears to the soul patch, all very frightening.
A love child between John Mabry and Matt Morris, perhaps? Dammit, why isn’t the media asking the tough questions???
