The Cardinals took 2-of-3 from the Cincinnati Reds and subsequently moved into a first place tie in the NL Central. With the Cardinals and Reds enjoying a scheduled day-off on Thursday, we’re left debating which team currently has the edge and is prepped for the long haul.
Personally, we’re questioning the Reds’ competitive fortitude and determination. I mean, in last night’s rubber game at Busch Stadium, they threw someone’s Dad behind home plate, which is just plain odd.
